Itinerary

Day : 1 - ARRIVAL AT SRINAGAR LOCAL SIGHTSEEING –

Upon your arrival at Srinagar Airport, enjoy a scenic 35-minute drive through the heart of New Srinagar City. The drive takes you past Abdullah Bridge, connecting the banks of the Jhelum River, leading towards the north-western frontier of Kashmir. Upon reaching your houseboat, check in and refresh. Later, explore the famous Mughal Gardens—Cheshma Shahi (Royal Spring), Nishat (Garden of Pleasure), and Shalimar (Abode of Love), all laid out in the 16th century, located along the picturesque Dal Lake. In the evening, enjoy a 90-minute Shikara ride on Dal Lake, gliding past floating vegetable gardens, a Handicrafts Centre, and experiencing the traditional lifestyle of the people who have lived on the lake for decades. Dinner and overnight stay at the Houseboat.

Day : 2 - SRINAGAR TO SONAMARG

After breakfast, we embark on a scenic drive to the majestic mountain resort of Sonamarg. The route takes us through picturesque countryside, passing rolling hills, green forests, clear water streams, and blooming rice fields. Along the way, we will pass through Kangan, a town that serves the local needs of the region. We will then head towards Mammar, famous for its trout farm, where we can stop for a warm cup of tea. Continuing our journey, we will make a stop at Gagangir, a tourist spot located in the middle of the Sindh River, resembling an island with snow-covered glaciers. Upon reaching Sonamarg, we have the option to take a 3-hour walk or horseback ride to the Thajiwas Glacier (at your own cost). In the evening, we will return to Srinagar for an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day : 3 - Sonmarg To Leh

After breakfast, drive to Leh via Sonamarg, crossing Zojila Pass and Drass Village. Visit Alchi Monastery, Likir Monastery, Magnetic Hill, Pathar Sahib Gurudwara, and Hall of Fame Museum. Arrive in Leh for dinner and overnight stay.

Day : 4 - Leh To Nubra

After an early breakfast, drive to Nubra Valley (135 km from Leh) via the world’s highest motorable road, Khardung La (17,982 ft). Reach Nubra by late afternoon, check in at the hotel/camp. In the afternoon, enjoy a Bactrian camel ride on the sand dunes of Hunder Village. Return to the hotel/camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day : 5 - Nubra valley - Pangong Lake

After breakfast, visit Diskit Monastery (515 years old) located on a hilltop, offering panoramic valley views. Explore the town of Diskit and its village market, including the Giant Buddha Statue. Proceed via Shyok to Pangong Lake (14,000 ft), a narrow lake split by the India-China border. Enjoy the stunning scenery of the lake and its surroundings. Overnight at a camp tent.

Day : 6 - Pangong Lake To Leh 140 Kms

Morning at leisure to explore the beauty of lake and later we drive back to leh and check in at our hotel for Overnight. In the evening you can stroll around the market place for some last minute souvenir shopping.

Day : 7 - Departure From Leh Airport
