Jammu and Kashmir is know as crown of India the state of Jammu & Kashmir share border with Himachal Pradesh and Punjab in the south, while it also has an international border with Pakistan (Gilgit Baltistan and Azad Kashmir) in the west and northwest and Republic of China in north and northeast. This is also the reason why this famous all over the world. The state is carefully divided in to three prime regions namely, Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh.  The Summer Capital is Srinagar for a period of 6 months from May – Oct ending and The Winter Capital is Jammu for a period of six months from November – April ending. 

Picturesque and enchanting, Kashmir is cradled high in the lofty green Himalayas and hailed all over the world for its incredible natural beauty. Surrounded by mountain peaks, lush green valleys, glistening lakes, temples and spectacular Mughal-era gardens, it has inspired poets through centuries.

Itinerary

Day : 1 - ARRIVAL AT SRINAGAR LOCAL SIGHTSEEING

Upon arrival at Srinagar Airport, enjoy a 35-minute drive through New Srinagar city, passing the Abdullah Bridge over the Jhelum River. Check in to the houseboat and relax. After refreshments, visit the famous Mughal gardens: Cheshma Shahi, Nishat, and Shalimar, dating back to the 16th century and located along Dal Lake. In the evening, take a 90-minute Shikara ride on Dal Lake, passing floating vegetable gardens, a handicrafts center, and observing the unique lifestyle of the people living on the lake. Dinner and overnight stay on the houseboat.

Day : 2 - IN SRINAGAR- DAY EXCURSION TO TULIP GARDEN

After breakfast, visit the Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden, Asia's largest, located at the foothills of Zabarwan Mountain. This seven-terraced garden features 48 varieties of tulips along with other flowers like daffodils, hyacinths, roses, and narcissus. The water channels running through the terraces enhance the beauty, making it a perfect spot for romantic photos. Spanning 30 hectares, the garden is especially vibrant during the Tulip Festival in spring. In the evening, take a leisurely walk around the famous Dal Lake before returning to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day : 3 - SRINAGAR TO SONAMARG -87 Kms)

After breakfast, drive to Sonamarg, enjoying a picturesque journey through rolling hills, green forests, clear streams, and blooming rice fields. Pass through the town of Kangan, then head towards Mammar, known for its trout farm, where you can stop for tea. Continue to Gagangir, a spot on the Sindh River surrounded by snow glaciers. In Sonamarg, take a 3-hour walk or horseback ride to the Thajiwas Glacier (at own cost). In the evening, return to Srinagar for an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day : 4 - SRINAGAR - PAHALGAM - SRINAGAR DAY TRIP-

After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive from Srinagar to Pahalgam via National Highway 1A. Pass by the saffron fields of Pampore, the ruins of Awantipura, and the village of Bijbehara, known as Kashmir's bread basket. Continue through Khanabal, the second-largest city, and drive along the picturesque Lidder River. Optionally, enjoy a half-day sightseeing trip to Chandanwari and Betaab Valley or a horseback ride to Baisaran Meadows (at your own cost). Visit Aru Valley, famous for film shoots like *Bajrangi Bhaijaan* and known for its hiking trails. After exploring, return to Srinagar for an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day : 5 - DEPART SRINAGAR (FLY OUT)
